Cordell Green has been in radio since he was 16, which means he’s basically grown up with listeners through mornings, workdays, drives home, big songs, bad jokes, local stories, and the occasional technical problem he totally meant to happen.

For Cordell, radio has always been about connection: a familiar voice in the car, at work, or in the kitchen while the coffee’s still going. He loves sharing feel good stories, country music, entertainment, weather and information and, most of all, hearing from listeners as they share their thoughts about the real life topics he discussed every day.

Over the years, Cordell has taken listeners into interviews with many country stars, from Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, to Garth Brooks, and has reported from the CMA and CCMA Awards on multiple ocassions. Away from the mic, Cordell is a lifelong Blue Jays fan (and a fantasy baseball fanatic), a lover of woods and trails, a hater of insects, and most import to him, a loving husband, and dad of 3.

For him, it all comes back to family, community, and making someone’s day a little lighter.
