As the result of a motorcycle accident on Thursday, June 12, 2025, Matthew Wright of Belmore passed away at the age of 29.
Dearly loved son of Steve & Christine Wright. Dear brother of Kyra Wright & Sheldon McGlynn, Karling Wright & Isaac Yoder and Sierra Wright & Mitch Borth. Partner of Shelby Currie and their children Brody, Maeve and a third baby set to arrive this summer. Special grandson of Janice Wright and Eileen Beninger. Matthew will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and co-workers. He is predeceased by his grandfathers Graham Wright and Gregory Beninger and aunt Donna Beninger.
A casual come and go Celebration of Matthew’s Life will be held on Sunday, June 15th, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Belmore Community Centre. A private family interment will take place at McIntosh Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the North Huron Foodshare or the McIntosh United Church would be appreciated by the family.
