Verdella Stere, formerly of Puslinch Township, passed away at Caressant Care, Harriston, on Tuesday, May 27, in her 94th year.
Mother of Russell Stere, and stepmother of Dale Stere. Grandmother of Tyler and Austin. Sister of Lydia Maitland, Evelyn Klages, Ken & Sharon Metcalf, and loved and remembered also by her nieces and nephews. Verdella was predeceased by her parents David & Beryl Metcalf, her son Trevor Stere, brothers-in-law Malcolm Maitland and Carman Klages, and by her former spouse Verle Stere.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Saturday, May 31st, from 10:30 until 12:00 p.m., with interment to follow in Purdy’s Cemetery, Greenock Township.
