Joan Shantz passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, May 2nd at Waterloo Regional Health Network at the age of 82 years.
Cherished mother of Craig Shantz, Jane Shantz & Mounir El-Ayari, and proud grandmother of Ava, Anson, Luke, and Greta. Joan will be missed by her brother James & Lori Snyder, sister Dianne Peters, by sister-in-law Iona Shantz, and by her many nieces and nephews. Now reunited with her beloved husband Darcy Shantz.
Relatives and friends are invited to Wilmot Centre Missionary Church, Petersburg on Friday, May 9th from 1:00 until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Reception and time of fellowship to follow. Interment will take place in Union Cemetery, New Dundee.
