Peter McGowan passed away after a short illness on January 1st in Walkerton.
Pete was loved by his wife Jan Briggs-McGowan, his sons Doug McGowan and Geordie McGowan & Vanessa Chard, as well as his stepdaughters Monique Morel-Peseski & Kara and Nicole Whittle & Mark. He will be greatly missed by 6 grandchildren. Pete was predeceased by his parents John & Mairiam McGowan, as well as his sister Betty Dubé.
Pete’s Party will be held at the Walkerton Legion Branch #102 on February 15th from 1-3 pm. Please join his family in a toast to a life well-lived and please wear red or something to do with his beloved Red Wings. An internment will be held in April in North Bay.
