Gail Poechman, most recently residing at the Village Retirement Home in Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13th at the Markdale Hospital at the age of 84. Gail is predeceased by her parents Ruth & John Welstead, and her eldest son Don Poechman. Survived by children Dave Poechman, Dean & Nazeema Poechman, Denise & Doug Caughy, and Deanna Poechman & Brett Haller. She is sister to Jean Bowser, Jacquie & Murray Loucks, Ron Welstead, and Norm Welstead. Grandmother to 8. Visitation will be held today between 5-8pm at Mighton Funeral Home in Hanover. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 17th at 10:30am at Holy Family Church in Hanover. Burial to follow at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery.
