Murray Machan of Monkton passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 21st at age 87. Beloved husband of Lenora Machan. Dear father of Dennis Machan & Lida, Colleen Pestell and Valerie Smith & Willie. Loving grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 11. He will be missed by the Osborn family and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son-in-law Garry Pestell, parents William and Lillian Machan, sisters Mary Helen Machan and Pauline Dickson. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Wednesday, September 25th from 10 – 10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in North Logan Cemetery.
