Doris Burke passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Strathcona Long Term Care on Wednesday, September 11th in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Burke. Loving mother of Larry & Corinne, Paul & Tracy, Debbie Kamstra & Jack, Jo-Anne Greene & Ken, Ken & Heather, Cathy Gilder & Ray, Dan & Sherry, Kevin & Kelli, and the late Michael. Survived by her sister, Shirley Becker. Dearly remembered by her 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, on Monday, September 16th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Purification Roman Catholic Church, Mount Forest, on Tuesday, September 17th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Following, all are invited for refreshments and fellowship to First Baptist Church, Mount Forest.
