Arlene van den Akker passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital, with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 3rd at the age of 80. Loving wife of Ben van den Akker for 55 years. Cherished mother of Amy van den Akker & Bill Springer, and Brent van den Akker & Jen Loft. Adored grandma of Logan, Avery, and Hunter. Dear sister and sister-in-law of June Williamson & Phil Neilsen, Diane Williamson, and Tony & Nancy van den Akker. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and her many great–nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth on Friday, July 5th from 6 – 8 PM. Arlene’s Funeral Service will be held at Community of Christ, Stratford on Saturday, July 6th at 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment at Brussels Cemetery.
