Gertie Long of Atwood passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on July 27th at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Long. Loving mother of Douglas, Barry & Lynda Long, Karen & Bruce Smith, Wayne & Jan Long, and Kenny & Brenda Long. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 19. Fondly remembered by brother Fred Scholl, sister-in-law Maxine Scholl and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood from 6 – 8 PM on Thursday, August 1st. A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, August 2nd from 2 – 4 PM at the Steve Kerr Community Room, Listowel. Private family interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
