Mike Johnston passed away at his home in Listowel, surrounded by the incredible love of his family, on Monday, July 29th in his 67th year. Husband of Sandy Johnston. Father of Ryan & Nicole Johnston, and Heather Dafoe, and Papa of Jazlin and Jayda. Son of Bill Johnston and the late Mary, brother of Sue & Bob Scott, Doug Johnston, Sandra Schalk & Paul McPhail, Jenn & Rod van Engen, and brother-in-law of Gary Scott. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Thursday, August 1st at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website. At Mike’s request, friends and family are asked to wear Hawaiian shirts or bright colours. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Reception to follow at Parkview Gardens, Listowel.
