Henry Hiemstra, formerly of Listowel, passed away at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, surrounded by his children, on Saturday, July 20th in his 104th year. Dear husband of the late Patricia Hiemstra. Loved father of Corrie Bonsma, Bill & Martha Hiemstra, Edith & Andrew Thalen, Elizabeth & Dick DeWit, Linda & Ed Mosterd, and Susan & Leonard Greidanus, and father-in-law of Wilma Hiemstra. Lovingly remembered by his siblings, 28 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Jake Hiemstra, son-in-law Ernie Bonsma, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 1 brother, and 1 sister. Private family interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, on Wednesday, July 24th at 9:30 a.m. The funeral service will follow at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior.
