At Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday, June 17th John Van Doornik of Seaforth passed away in his 98th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Catherine Van Doornik. Cherished father of Dorothy Medd & Russ Jackson, Jackie & Don Brooks, Harold & Beth Van Doornik, Joanne & Dave Tilley, and Steve Van Doornik. Loving Grandfather and Opa of 10 and Great-Opa to 10. He also enjoyed 9 step-grandchildren, 12 great-step-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-step-Grandchild. Survived by sister-in-law Fien Verhoeven. Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth on Wednesday, June 19th from 5 – 8 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church, Seaforth on Thursday, June 20th at 11 AM.
