Ron Scotchmer of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Victoria Hospital, London on Saturday, June 15th in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Rose Scotchmer. Dear father of Becky Belfour & Louis, Jennifer Skinner & Bruce, Meghan Dorssers & Terry and Michelle Menheere & Pete. Loving grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Raymond Scotchmer & Peggy. Dear brother-in-law of Doug Telford & friend Ruth, Delores Fisher & Frank, Sandra Fields & Bryan, Tom Telford & Sherrie, Mary Lynne Telford, Sandra Laliberte and Remi Verhoeven. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at the Lockhart Reception Centre, Mitchell on Tuesday, June 18th from 5-8 p.m.
