Gilkinson, John (Age 79, Listowel)
John Gilkinson passed away quietly at his home in Listowel, on Sunday, June 23rd in his 80th year. Husband of Eleanor Gilkinson. Father of Ron Gilkinson, Murray Gilkinson & Tammy Coffee, Kim Elg, and Bruce Gilkinson & Tawnya Pettitt. Grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 10. Brother of Dorothy Reddon, Bob & Sandra Gilkinson, Phyllis & Ron McCluskie, Doug & Joanne Gilkinson, Ann Oulette , Wayne & Sharon Gilkinson, and Marion & Peter Anderson. A private family service will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel today with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. A public celebration of John’s life will follow at Parkview Gardens, Listowel Legion from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
