Cyril Spitzig of Chepstow passed away peacefully Monday, April 22nd at his daughter Anne’s home in Mildmay in his 95th year, with loving family by his side. Loving father of Lloyd and Minh, Anne Duncan, Joan and Gary Fischer, Jane and Dave McKeen, Barbara and Jeffrey McDonald, Stephen and Colleen, Albin, Dan and Cathy, Mary and Rob Chapman, Martha and Andre Demers. Sadly, missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings and inlaws. Predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Beatrice, twin daughters Beatrice and Bernice in infancy, and other beloved family members. Friends and relatives are invited for casual visitation from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26th, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27th, at Mary Immaculate Church, Chepstow. Reception will be held at Knights of Columbus Hall, Walkerton following interment in Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Chepstow.
