Ivan Schmidt, of Hanover, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by loved ones at Hanover and District Hospital on Sunday, April 14th at the age of 93.
Survived by devoted wife Adele Schmidt. Loved father of Eleanor & John Fruin and Cyndi & Ken Fischer. Special Grandpa of Curtis & Allison, Megan & Pat, Dan & Leila, Brett & Shauni and Valerie. Always loved by his 4 great-grandchildren. Ivan will be missed by his niece and nephew and their family and remembered by his brothers in law and sister in law.
Family and friends are invited to Visitation held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, April 17th from 6-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 11:00 am, at
First St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Hanover with visitation from 10am – 10:45 am. Interment to follow in Hanover Cemetery.
