Hazel Jean Pettit of Listowel passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family, at Caressant Care on Thursday, April 18th in her 92nd year. Wife of the late William John ‘Jack’ Pettit. Loving mother of Robert Pettit & Pat Walther, David Pettit & Julia Charron [Shar], and Michael Pettit. Grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 4. Sister of Allen Hamilton & Grace Bender, Marion & Keith Bristowe, and Larry and Eilleen Hamilton, and sister-in-law of Doreen Hamilton, Karen Hamilton, and Marsha Hamilton. Interment and committal services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. James Clark officiating. Reception will follow at Parkview Gardens, Listowel Legion.
