Blain Carruthers, husband and best friend of Priscilla of Ripley, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 4th at the age of 69. Forever missed by his daughters Jaime Lee & Brent, Melanie & Jordan and his son Cass & Shannon. Survived by his sister Karen Martyn & Doug, brothers Garry and Boyd & Kathy, father-in-law Frank Zipfel, sisters-in-law Debbie Stanley & Art and Shanda Hewitson & Mike and many nieces and nephews. A private service and interment will be held at the Ripley Cemetery. A remembrance gathering for all of Blain’s friends and family will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 12:00pm-4:00pm upstairs at the Ripley Community Centre.
