Ross Thompson, of Durham, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Sunday, March 3rd in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Helen. Dear brother of Gertrude Maxwell and brother-in-law of MaryLou Thompson, and Alvin Wiechman (wick-man). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Orville Thompson, Bruce Thompson, Warden Thompson, and his sister Ethel Hastie. Visitation will be held at the Durham Legion on Wednesday, March 6th from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., followed by a funeral service celebrating Ross’s life at 1 p.m. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery.
