Don Bateman of Listowel passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, March 9th in his 79th year. Husband of Janet Bateman. Father of Brenda Wade & Bill Terry, Rob & Sariny Bateman, and Jim & Teresa Bateman. Grandfather of Natalie, Claire, Tyler, Sydney, Emily, Sarah, Chelsea, and Jaxson. Brother of Gord Bateman. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Masonic Memorial Service and an Eastern Star Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Wednesday, March 13th at 11:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed and the link available on the funeral home website. Reception to follow at the Listowel Legion. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
