Pete van Veen of Listowel, formerly of Brussels, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on February 17th at the age of 91. Loving husband for 68 years of Margaret van Veen. Beloved father of Brenda & Wayne Linney, Murray & Myrna van Veen, Peter van Veen & Gerry, Bonita & Charlie Zammit, Douglas & Grace van Veen and Michael van Veen. Cherished grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Pete will be missed by his sisters Alie & Garfield Lee, Martha & Case DeBoer and brother Gerrit & the late Helen van Veen. A memorial service will be held for Pete at Listowel Bible Chapel on Friday, February 23rd at 10:30 AM. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel will take place at a later date.
