Ross Ney of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Hillside Care Centre on February 25th in his 96th year. Ross is survived by his wife of 77 years, Ruth and his children Rev. William Ney & Diane and Pamela Edwards & Michael. He is also survived by grandchildren Michelle Gehring & Bradley, and Paul Ney & Amanda and step-grandchildren Michael & Vanessa, Chelsea & Emmanuel, Jennifer & Christopher and 5 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Home Visitation will take place at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Thursday, February 29th from 6-8 p.m. Ross’s Funeral will take place at Grace Lutheran Church, Mitchell on Friday, March 1st at 2 p.m. with a viewing prior from 1-1:45 p.m. at the Church. Interment will take place immediately following the Service followed with a time of fellowship and food at the Lockhart Reception Centre.
