Surrounded by his family at home on Thursday, February 1st, Leslie Byers passed away in his 88th year. Cherished husband of Virginia Byers for 61 years. Beloved father of Michelle & Marc Klis, Mark & Joanne Byers, and Krista & Rob Quesnel. Adored Grandpa of 6 and great-grandfather of 3. Predeceased by his grandchildren Brendan, Susie, and Meagan. Dear brother of Jean Watson and Joyce Keeling, and brother-in-law of Ron & Elizabeth Stearne. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers-and sisters-in-law Bill Watson, Murray Keeling, Jack Stearne, and Shirley Stephens. Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Mount Forest United Church on Monday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at the church from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
