The Lord in His great grace and mercy took home Gilbert VanBrenk of Walkerton on Friday, January 19th at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley. Gilbert died peacefully with family at his side. Dearly loved husband of Mieke. Beloved father of Jenny & John Belder, Ingrid & Ron DeVisser and Bert & Tracey-Ann VanBrenk. Cherished Opa of 11 grandchildren and their spouses, and Great-Opa of 24. A funeral service celebrating Gilbert’s life will be held at the Klages Mill, Chesley on Thursday, January 25th at 11 a.m., with a time of fellowship to follow. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.
