Jim Overboe passed away on January 7th at Freeport Palliative Care Facility in Kitchener, after a brief but determined battle with cancer at the age of 70. Predeceased by his parents Ken & Doreen Overboe, his brother in law Frank, and his nephews Tim and Scott. Loved and missed by his siblings David & Penny, Lorraine & Graham, and Andrea. Uncle Jim to Theresa, Greg, Carrie, Adam & Kendall, Tarryn & Brian, Jason & Stephanie, and Jake & Amanda and their families. Jim is also remembered by special friends Frank Cameron, George Brown, Bill Crawford, and Jasmin Zine. Following Jim’s wishes, his body has been donated to medical science. There will be a Celebration of Jim’s life and legacy at a future date to be announced.
