John Thomas “Tom” Lessard of Crediton passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital on Saturday, December 30th at age 86. Beloved husband of Rita Ann Lessard. Loved father and father-in-law of Thomas & Connie Lessard, Glen Lessard, Michael & Val Lessard, Bill & Christine Lessard, and Casey Lessard & Angela Michielsent. Cherished grandpa of 13 and great-grandpa of 1. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Margaret Tulley, Nancy Zettel, Kathleen “Kay” Foley, Tom and Maisey Foley, and Richard Foley. Tom will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. At Tom’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, on Sunday, January 7th from 1 to 4 p.m. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church on Monday, January 8th at 11 a.m. Interment in Exeter Cemetery at a later date.
