Hartung, Ruth (Age 99, Listowel)
Ruth Hartung of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 6th in her 100th year. Wife of the late Victor Hartung. Mother of Marlene & John Mueller, and mother-in-law of Ted Spoelstra and Leola Hartung. Grandmother of Steven & Bethany Spoelstra, Nancy Spoelstra & Peter North, Luke & Crystal Hartung, Chantelle & the late Cory Wilson, Ben Hartung & Nathan Flach, Ryan Collette and great-grandmother of 7. Predeceased by daughter Audrey Spoelstra, son Donald Hartung, siblings Beatrice Emke, Morris Klein, Eileen Johann & Lloyd Klein. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Listowel Salvation Army Citadel on Friday, January 12th at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. The service will be live-streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website. Interment in Zion United Cemetery, Wallace Township.
