George Culbert of Mildmay passed away Wednesday, December 20th at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Sherry & Brian Durrer, Penney & Dave Niesen, Steve & Paula and Chad. Proud Papa to 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. George will be missed by his sisters Velda Howe, Jo-Anne & Gary Hamer, and sister-in-law Audrey Culbert. Also, fondly remembered by the Prei ss family, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited for memorial visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4th at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5th at St. Paul’s United Church, Mildmay. Reception to follow at the Mildmay Carrick Complex Hall. Interment in Mildmay United Church Cemetery.
