Margaret “Peg” Thuell passed away suddenly in Barrie at the Royal Victoria Hospital on December 1st in her 86th year. Peg is survived by her husband of 64 years, Claire. Also survived by her children Brent & Lisa and Patricia & Bill, her sister in laws Marjorie MacTavish and Evylene MacTavish and her brother in law Eugene Walden. Predeceased by her parents, James and Clara MacTavish, her siblings, Allan MacTavish, Evelyn Walden, Marion Lowry, Jim MacTavish and her brother in law Perrin Lowry. A funeral service will be held at MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley on Friday, December 8th at 2 pm with visitation 2 hours prior from 12pm – 2pm. Final resting place in Ripley Cemetery.
