Doug Smith of Atwood passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, December 17th at the age of 66. Beloved husband of 24 years to Lorell Smith. Loving father of Dave & Carrie Hodges, Angie & Steve Cameron and Jason Smith. Cherished grandfather of Ethan, Jessie, Jenasta, Travis, Brooke, Ryder, Cali and Alex. He will be missed by his siblings Diane & Al Darroch, David & Cathy Smith, Darlene & Tom Bowes. He will also be missed by special friend Wendy Butcher. Predeceased by his parents Garnet and Doreen Smith. Friends and family will be received at a visitation at the Brenneman Funeral Home in Atwood on Tuesday, December 19th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Visitation will continue at Elma Memorial Community Centre in Atwood on Wednesday, December 20th from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Interment at Elma Centre Cemetery.
