Eila McLaughlin passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Palmerston & District Hospital on Wednesday, December 27th in her 92nd year. Wife of the late Norris McLaughlin. Mother of Anne & Earleila Schneider, John McLaughlin & Kim Nickel, Jim & Kathy McLaughlin, and Adele & Rick Gibbings. Grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 30, with three more on the way. A private family funeral service will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Saturday, December 30th at 10:30 a.m. The service will be live streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website. Interment in Harriston Cemetery. A public celebration of Eila’s life will then be held at the Harriston Legion from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with sharing of memories at 2:00 p.m. Eila McLaughlin arrangements entrusted to Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
