Bernell Smith of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 20th in his 88th year. Loving husband of Marg Smith for 66 years. Father of Blair Smith & Kelly Mason, Brian & Liz Smith, and Brad & Becky Smith. Grandfather of Tanya, Candice, Taylor, Kyle, Andrew, Cooper, Kaden, and Mason, and great-grandfather of Rylan, Raina, and Acadia. Loved also by his faithful furry friend Jaxon. Brother of Lorraine Montgomery, and Connie Willoughby, and brother-in-law of Betty McCutcheon, Esther McCutcheon, and Jeannette McCutcheon. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Trinity United Church, Listowel, on Monday, November 27th at 11:00 a.m., with reception to follow in the church hall. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home website. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Brussels.
