Sonny Metzger of Palmerston passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Saturday, November 18th in his 91st year. Beloved husband of June for 68 years. Dear father of Paul & Tammy Metzger, Wayne & Bonnie Metzger, Gerald & Terry Metzger, Doug Metzger & Tracy Donaldson, and Brian & Brenda Metzger. Grandfather of 17 and great-Grandfather of 34. Sonny will be remembered by his twin sister Shirleen Pellett and brothers Lloyd Metzger, and Floyd & Dianne Metzger. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a private family service at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Palmerston. Please join the family for A Celebration of Life at the Frank Lambier Legion, Branch 409, Palmerston on Sunday, December 3rd from 2p.m. to 4 p.m. for a casual afternoon to share memories.
