Gerald Martene of Seaforth, and formerly of Dashwood, passed away peacefully at home on November 22nd at the age of 89. Dear husband of the late Barbara Martene and June Martene. Cherished father of Judy Martene, Peter & Tammy Martene, Kari Martene & Joe Ryan, and Steve Martene. Proud Poppa of 12, Great-Poppa of 8 and Great-Great Poppa of 1. Dear brother of Marie Tieman, RuthAnne Merner, Margaret Hogarth, and Eleanor & Adam Kwajafa. Awesome uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter today from 7-9 PM and again on Tuesday, November 28th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Gerald’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM. Cremation with spring interment at Zion Cemetery, Dashwood.
