Ronald Higgins of Stratford, formerly of Wingham, passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth surrounded by his family on November 16th at the age of 86. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Shirley, and his beloved children Karen & Clive Edmonds, Terry & Brenda Higgins, and Wanda & Kent Cleland. Cherished grandpa of 8 and great-grandpa of 6. Also survived by brothers Bill & Ruth Ann, Paul & Rilla, brother-in-law Don & Susan McNeil, sister-in-law Dianne McNeil, Clive’s daughters, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held for family and friends on Sunday, November 26th from 2 – 4 pm at the Best Western Arden Park Hotel, Stratford.
