John Lowell Shantz, of Arthur, passed away unexpectedly at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Thursday, September 28th at the age of 89. Survived by loving wife Lorene Shantz of 66 years. Loved father of Barry Shantz, Steven & Kate Shantz, Roger & Gayle Shantz and Darlene & Dan Driedger. Loved grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 10. Fondly remembered by his siblings Mae Baer, Alice Gascho, Norma Shantz, and Helen & Arnold MacDonald, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Lowell will be missed by the entire Erb Family. Predeceased by his parents John and Ida Shantz, sister Jean Shantz, and brothers in law Norman Gascho and Morgan Baer. A funeral service has taken place.
