Joyce Reay, of Hanover and formerly of Durham, passed away at the McVean Lodge on Tuesday, October 24th in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Irvin Reay. Loving mother of Bryan & Kim Reay, Carolyn Coutts & her late husband Elgin, Rick Reay, Janice Reay & her partner Barry Gateman, Angela & Les Fry, and Kevin & Michelle Reay. Fondly remembered by her 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Wayne and Pat Saigeon. Sister-in-law of Eleanor MacLean, and June & Lloyd Howatt. Predeceased by her infant son Randy, her sister Rheta Charlton, her parents George and Myrtle Saigeon, her in-laws Orville Reay, Norma Davis, and Edna Bell. A funeral service celebrating Joyce’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Saturday, October 28th at 11 a.m., with visitation being held prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. A recording of the funeral service will be available for viewing on Sunday, October 29th by visiting the Funeral Home website. Interment at Durham Cemetery.
