At Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 4th, Ethel McMichael of Wroxeter passed away peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by her daughters. Mother of her four girls: Janice & Gary Ballagh, Karen & Morris Schmalz, Judith & Steve Gaunt, and Rhonda & Doug McArter. Grandmother of Devan & Tyler Beckett, Michael Ballagh & Cassie Muldoon, Paige Ballagh & Kyle Waymouth, Matthew Ballagh, Cody & Brianna Schmalz, Jessica Schmalz; Andrew, Christine, Adam & Kaleigh and Caleb Gaunt; and Olivia, Nick and Sam McArter. Great-grandmother of Cameron Beckett. Sister-in-law of Jacquie Ries. Predeceased by husband Ron McMichael, granddaughter Amanda Gaunt in infancy, one sister, one brother, three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law. Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be live-streamed and a link available on the McBurney Funeral Home website.
