Joan Lubbers went home to be with her Lord and Saviour peacefully at the West Perth Village on Monday, October 30th at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Bert Lubbers. Dear mother of George & Jo-Ann Lubbers, Jack & Nancy Lubbers and Steve & Susie Lubbers. Loving grandmother of Bradley & Jennifer, Jessica & Quentin, Stephanie, Jennifer & Jeff, Katie, Nicholas & Robyn, Daniel & Olivia, Nathan, Derek, Josh & Bea, Rachel & Derrick, Isaac & Rachel, Maria & Derek and Rebecca & Hendrik. Cherished great grandmother of 12. Dear sister-in-law of Grace Benjamins. Lovingly remembered by the Lubbers family. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Wednesday, November 1st, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Joan’s funeral service will be held at Bethel Free Reformed Church, Mitchell on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Bethel Munro Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church.
