Romuald “Ronnie” Yanke passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24th at Highview Residence at the age 98. Ronnie was the beloved husband of the late Rosie Yanke. Uncle of Bill & Cheryl Jahnke, Karin Barth, Harold & Melissa Barth, Kurt & Mary Kilsch, Christa Harrison, Anita & Rainer Holz, Karen & Peter Bjerland, Rolf Yanke, Gary & Kathy Barth, Betty & Cliff Smith, Alice & Gary Southworth, Lorraine & Bill Moran, Ruth & Michael Sergeant and Susan & Steve Rosenburg. Survived by sister-in-law Katharina Yanke. Ronnie’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30-10:15 a.m on Saturday, September 30th at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener. Ronnie’s life will be celebrated in the chapel of the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, followed by a reception. Those unable to attend may join the family via live-stream on the Henry Walser website starting at 10:15 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
