Ronald Salter of Sebringville passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor on August 30th at the age of 87. Beloved husband for 65 years of Helen. Loving father of Sandy & Gary Halls, Brian & Sheila, and Paul & Sue. Grandfather of Braeden & Stephanie Halls, Hayley & David Jones, Luke & Ashlyn Salter, Devin & Megan Salter, Rachel & Jalen Aitcheson, Nicole & Nick Wilpstra, and Natalie & Mike Salter. Great grandfather to 5, soon to be 6. Also survived by sisters-in-law Norma Salter, Glenda Salter, Donalda Salter, Elsie McKone-Pierce, Eunice Wolfe, Diane Wolfe and Muriel Scott and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Shirley & Russ Wilhelm, brothers Charles Jr., Fred and William, granddaughter Karlee, and parents Charles and Hazel Salter. A private family interment will be held at Avondale Cemetery. Ronald Salter arrangements entrusted to the W.G. Young Funeral Home, Stratford.
