Noreen Hilbig passed away peacefully Friday, September 1st at the Village of Taunton Mills retirement home, Whitby in her 95th year. Noreen is survived by her children Jim & Christine, Ken & Deborah, Tom & Rhonda, Ann Marie, Marybeth and Laurie Ann, along with 13 grand and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia and her brother, Ken. She was predeceased by her husband Eric, her brothers Keith and Don Kirwan, and by her sister Sheila Kirby. Friends will be received on Sunday, September 10th from 7pm – 9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, Port Elgin. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 11th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish, Port Elgin, with a reception to follow in Jubilee Hall.
