Allan Poechman of Walkerton, passed away peacefully at SBGHC-Walkerton on Wednesday, August 2nd at the age of 92. Survived by his son Daryl Poechman & his partner Patricia Smith, his daughter Patricia Poechman & her partner Steve Strong, and daughter-in-law Penny Croft. Beloved grandfather of Adam & Jen Poechman, Allanna & Kevin Hubley, Jeremy Murdoch, Tyler Strong, Samantha & Justin Oosthoek and by 5 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his sister Edith Austin and sister-in-law Dianne Poechman and their families. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan, son Terry Poechman and by his siblings Harold & Mary Poechman, Willard Poechman, Francis Poechman, Lillian Tubbs and brother in law Evan Austin. Family and friends are invited to visitation which will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Thursday, August 10th from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 11th at 11:00 am with visitation from 10-10:45 am, at Holy Family Church, Hanover. Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsruhe. Mass will be live streamed through Holy Family at holyfamily.ca.
