Larry Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15th at the age of 79. Devoted husband of 57 years to Helen and father to Walter & Betty-Ann and Grace & Joseph Gowanlock. Proud Opa to Samantha & Ethan Hamilton, Sarah Gowanlock and Ryan Johnston. Survived by his brother Allan Johnston, sister Irene Bennett, sister-in-law Peggy Hugill and brothers-in-law Don & Darlene Fischer, Albert & Mary Buffinga, Ralph & Margaret Buffinga and Case & Ruth Buffinga. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Malinda Johnston. In laws Henry and Grace Buffinga, brother Walter Johnston, sisters Joyce Colyer, Linda Fischer, Shirley Clarke, brothers-in-law Keith Clarke, Kelly Bennett and nephew David Johnston. A funeral service will take place at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, Goderich, on Saturday, August 19th at 11:00 a.m.
