Bill Garness of Harriston passed away on Sunday, August 13th in his 85th year. Loving husband of 59 years to Yvonne Garness. Loving father to René & Dave Johnson. Grandfather of J.J, Ryan, and the late Jo-Anne Garness, and great grandfather to Gregory Hare. Brother of Sally & Doug Munroe, and remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leslie & Tessie Garness, and sisters Waneeta & Don Kohli, and Caroline & Bob Hart. Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 19th at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the Harriston Legion.
