Dorothy Smith of Egmondville passed away peacefully at West Perth Village, Mitchell on Friday, July 7th, she was 85. Beloved wife of Elson Smith. Dear mother of Susan Smith and Wendy Guthrie. Loving grandmother of Spencer Guthrie. Dear sister of Betty Enns, John and Sheila Stahkle and Kenneth and Barb Stahkle. Dear sister-in-law of Harold Smith and Mary, Ruth Smith and Marlene Smith. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Beatrice Stahlke, brothers-in-law Con Enns, Don Smith and Bernice, Ken Smith and Wayne Smith and sister-in-law Marg Cross and Tom. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Sunday, July 9th from 2-4 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 – 10:45 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
