Douglas Riley of Huron East, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, June 27th in his 84th year. Survived by his beloved wife Barbara, children Kim and Dean Ellerbrock, and Greg. His step children Lori and Jan Giec, and Mark and Heather Livermore. Proud Papa of Mackenzie and Sam Ellerbrock, Maddi, Ryder and Charlie Livermore and Jordyn and Kelsee Giec. His furry friend Rosie is lost without him. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Frank Riley; mother of his children Norma, sister Grace and brother -in-law Bob Woods and daughter-in-law Julia. At Doug’s request cremation has taken place. A casual Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 1-4 at his home at 81457 North Line, Huron East. A short tribute will occur at 3 PM.
