Tim Oosterveld of Palmerton passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer on Thursday, July 20th in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Cathy for 53 years. Cherished father of Candace and Neil Downey, Kevin and Denise Oosterveld, and Matthew and Nidya Oosterveld. Dear grandfather of William, James, Lucas, Emily and Lily. Brother of Gordon and Ann Oosterveld, Albert and Pat Oosterveld, Peter and Christine Oosterveld, Martin and Bernice Oosterveld, Henry and Beverly Oosterveld, Trudy and Paul Basile. Brother-in-law of Brian and Mary Noble and Audrey and Allan Toner. Predeceased by his parents Martin and Hendrikje Oosterveld and sister Joanne Romkes. A memorial service will be held at James Street United Church, Palmerston on Tuesday, July 25th at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
