Lois McCutcheon of Brussels passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice on July 23rd, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the Late Mel McCutcheon for 57 years. Loving Mom to Karen & Bruce Taylor, Wayne & Kathleen McCutcheon and Steve & Holly McCutcheon. Grandma to Kirkland & Victoria, Carson, Nolan and Ava. Sister to Elwood & Lynda, Sharon McClory, Arthur & Jenifer, and Kevin & Kathy. Sister-in-law to Marg & Bernell Smith, Esther McCutcheon, Betty McCutcheon and Jeanette McCutcheon. Missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Especially missed by her furry friend Ola. Predeceased by her parents, grandson Patrick, niece Lisa Boylan, and many loved sister and brother-in-laws. An informal visitation will be held at Riverside Funeral Home Brussels on Saturday July 29th from 1-3 p.m. A private family burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery. A Celebration of Lois’s life will be held at a later date at the Brussels United Church. The celebration can be live streamed via the Riverside Funeral Home Facebook Page.
